Tip of the day!!

When you are working on your seating arrangements, consider seating the older guests as far away from the band/stage as possible. Although we always endeavour to keep the sound levels conservative during the Dinner part of the event, once the Dancing kicks off it can get loud for the older guests who are not up dancing.

Make sure you seat the younger guests closer to the band, they will enjoy it! www.rumoursband.com.au

We love this photo of happy couple Michael and Rachel. We provided the Entertainment at their wedding in Melbourne's Dandenong Ranges a few weeks ago. We were quite taken with their Autumn inspired colour theme, from the beautiful bridesmaid dresses and matching groomsmen's ties, to the stunning floral boquets and matching cake. The setting at gorgeous Tatra receptions in Olinda was just perfect.... and needless to say it was a terrific night with Rumours Band providing just the right music to keep the dance floor packed all night! We wish you all the best Michael and Rachel ...

We had a fantastic night tonight at the Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA) Awards Night. Patrick (accompanied by his wife Tizi) and Debbi (accompanied by her husband Petros) went along to represent the band.
We also finished finalist in the "Live Band" category, with over a  99% score, as voted exclusively by Brides and Grooms in Victoria. 
It  was a terrific result, with Debbi and the band being inducted into the ABIA Hall of Fame for winning over 10 awards in the last 14 years, plus a win in the "Ceremony Music" category.



We are very happy with the result and would like to extend our thanks to the rest of the band for their hard work, outstanding talent, dedication and professionalism, which makes it possible for us to deliver as we do, week in and week out! 



And.... we would especially like to thank the wonderful Brides and Grooms of Melbourne who have voted for us over the year.
